How we got started

Rae & Ana accidentally created All-In Meetups, the unofficial community for fans of The All-In Podcast while they were at Olivine.

What started as two meetups for Episode 100 in San Francisco and Miami, grew to 7k+ members in over 50 cities worldwide. It took a ton of manual effort and duct-taping of tools together, and we couldn’t keep up with the demand (or keep data & privacy under control).

Backed by Jason Calacanis and Balaji Srinivasan, we’ve assembled a team to build a platform to power in-person communities everywhere.

River launched an MVP on August 8, 2023 — in time to host 20 unofficial events around All-In Summit 2023 and launched to beta November 27, 2023.

Now River powers IRL events for global communities of All-In, My First Million, This Week in Startups, Tim Ferriss, Superteam, Solana Foundation and many more.
